Community Based Probation Intern Title: Community Based Probation Intern Position Summary: The position involves assisting the probation officers in the supervision of probationers. Working Conditions: This work involves minimal risk to personal safety due to limited contact with probationers. The schedule will be flexible between Monday - Friday anytime between 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. The amount of hours worked are based on the college credit hours you wish to obtain. The intern may focus on the Juvenile or Adult Drug Court Program and may design their internship to be built around the probation or treatment aspect of the program. Working Conditions: This work involves moderate risk to personal safety due to contact with criminal offenders. The schedule will be flexible, and may include weekend and evening hours. Position Summary: The position involves assisting the pretrial case managers in the investigation of individuals detained prior to arraignment and in the supervision of individuals released on bond pending trial. The schedule will be flexible between Monday - Friday anytime between 7:00 am - 4:30 pm and between 8:00 pm and 6:00 am.
