Full-Time and Part-Time LPN

The Rappahannock Regional Jail is seeking an energetic, positive and self-motivated full-time and part-time LPN to work with our team of diverse professionals providing health care to incarcerated individuals. Duties include, but are not limited to; performing medical evaluations; assisting physicians; vein puncture; collecting medical data; preparing and maintaining files and records; preparing and dispensing medications. This position requires 12 hour rotating shifts. Must have a valid LPN state license. Applicants must be 21 years of age, have HS Diploma/GED and a valid Virginia Driverís License. Correctional Officer

Maintenance / Electrical Technician

The Rappahannock Regional Jail is seeking to fill the position of Maintenance/Electrical Technician. This position is full-time and will be responsible for performing maintenance, repair, minor modification and construction work in electrical field; Prepares and maintains logs and reports on work performed; Repairs and maintains electrical systems and components; Performs preventive maintenance and service on HVAC and other mechanical and electrical systems; Handles minor electrical and mechanical repairs. Troubleshoots potential problems and conducts repairs when necessary; Inventories electrical supplies and equipment; Escorts vendors and contract service maintenance personnel through facility; Performs related tasks as required. Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school supplemented by vocational training and considerable experience in maintenance, repairs and/or construction work. Must possess and maintain current Journeyman Electricianís License or Master Electrician License. Applicants must be 21 years of age, have HS Diploma/GED and a valid Virginia Driverís License.
