Inmate Accounts

All funds for an inmate must be mailed through
the U.S. Postal Service, delivered via FedEx or UPS or deposited into the
Kiosk machine.
- The Kiosk
machine is located in the main lobby for deposits of inmate funds for
commissary. Cash or money orders only! The machine is available from 8am
to 8pm Monday through Friday. Money added to an inmates account will be
credited on the following business day. Any Kiosk issues that occur
after 4pm will have to be resolved with inmate accounts on the following
business day.

All funds mailed to the inmate must be in the
form of a money order or cashier's check. No cash, personal checks or
other drafts will be accepted. The money order or cashier's check should
be made payable to the inmate.

Inmates are allowed mail that
includes letters, cards, photographs (not to exceed 20), money orders,
internet articles and religious materials. Any mail that is pornographic
in nature or contains materials that would be deemed a security risk will
not be allowed. In addition any material that has been laminated,
contains a musical device, or has stickers will not be permitted. Postage
stamps that contain monetary value and any items that are not allowed will
be placed in the inmate’s property.
- Inmates must receive prior approval for newspapers, magazines and soft back books to be accepted. Approval is to be obtained by the inmate by submitting a request form. Family members cannot obtain approval for the inmate. No hard back books are allowed. All books/magazines/newspapers must be ordered from a publisher or bookstore and sent directly to the Jail after the inmate obtains approval.
